Q: Who is the class for?
Sing Shalom is a cultural-based class for families who identify as Jewish, who have a Jewish partner, or perhaps are just interested in Jewish culture. Parents and caregivers of all backgrounds and nationalities are welcome to enroll.
Q: What’s new about this class?
The weekly parent-child music classes are uniquely designed to help parents introduce a Jewish music tradition to their family. Each class includes a few Jewish songs that will enrich the class experience and inspire families to sing, dance, and play along while learning new music skills.
Q: What will parents recognize?
This is still Music Together's internationally recognized early childhood music education program that supports parents’ goals for strengthening family relationships and supporting their child’s development.
Q: Who’s teaching the new classes?
Classes are being taught by trained Music Together teachers who will create a dynamic music experience. They will also be available to answer any questions parents may have about Jewish parenting or want to learn more about what’s fun and exciting in the community.
Q: Are there any other benefits I should know about?
Enrolled families will each receive a special Sing Shalom gift bag with egg shakers and other items parents will love. Parents will also receive an electronic playlist with the new songs. And, parents who participate in evaluation efforts for this new program will receive a $100 thank you refund*.
